What an incredible achievement 

At the European U19 Team Championships in Poland 2026, Israel finishes 4th – the best result in history of Israeli U19 teams 

And even more impressive?

One of the youngest teams in the event, with an average age of just 16.5 

Facing older, more experienced players – and still pushing all the way to the semifinals 

This is more than a result. It’s a statement.

Sportsmanship, power, discipline, and fighting spirit – you fought for every point, for each other, and for the flag 

We are incredibly proud of you all – players, coaches, and everyone behind the scenes who made this journey possible

אליפות אירופה עד גיל 19 – קרקוב 2026

אנחנו גאים לצאת לקרקוב ולייצג את ישראל באליפות אירופה עד גיל 19 השנה, הן בתחרות האישית והן בתחרות הקבוצתית. 

התחרות האישית תתקיים בין התאריכים 28–31 במרץ, שם יתמודדו השחקנים שלנו מול הטובים ביותר באירופה. יש לנו קבוצה חזקה עם יכולת להגיע רחוק. במיוחד נציין את אלעד רובנשטוק, המדורג במקום ה־3 בדירוג האירופי (ESF), מה שמציב אותו בעמדה מצוינת לקראת התחרות. 

התחרות הקבוצתית תתקיים בין התאריכים 2–5 באפריל. הסגל שנבחר הוא:

• תמיר ויגנפלד

• אורי יהוד

• עופרי מליח

• נעמי ויגנפלד

מדובר בנבחרת מוכשרת ומאוזנת, ואנו מאמינים שיש לנו הזדמנות אמיתית להתחרות ברמה גבוהה ולהשיג תוצאה מרשימה.

European U19 Championships – Krakow 2026

We’re proud to be heading to Krakow to represent Israel at this year’s European U19 Championships, competing in both the Individual and Team events. 

The Individual Championships will take place from March 28–31, where our players will face the top juniors in Europe. We have a strong group capable of making a deep run. Notably, Elad Robenshtok is ranked #3 in the ESF, putting him in an excellent position going into the event. 

The Team Championships will take place from April 2–5. The squad that got selected is:

• Ori Yahud

• Ofri Maliach

• Naomi Wiegenfeld

This is a talented and well-balanced team, and we believe we have a real opportunity to compete at a high level and deliver a strong result.
